What clients say

Trusted across sectors.

They designed the tracking hardware, wrote the firmware, and stood up the dashboard — we never had to coordinate between three different vendors.
Operations Lead, logistics client
Moving to ERPNext meant we stopped paying for licence seats we weren't using. The system scales with our headcount instead of penalising it.
Finance Manager, NGO client
The security review gave us a written record we could actually hand to our donor — not just a verbal assurance that things were fine.
Programme Director, donor-funded client

FAQ

Common questions.

01What ERP system does Iota Technologies use, and why?

We build on ERPNext and Frappe rather than a proprietary ERP. That means no per-user licence traps as a client's headcount grows, and the client keeps ownership of their own data and system.

02Can our data be hosted inside Tanzania?

Yes. The same system can run in the cloud, on your own VPS, or fully on-premise inside local borders — whichever matches your compliance or data-residency needs.

03Do you build custom hardware, or only integrate existing devices?

We design our own PCBs, write our own firmware, and take field devices from concept through to manufacture — we're not just reselling and configuring third-party hardware.

04What connectivity do you support for field devices?

Cellular, LoRaWAN and Wi-Fi, matched to the device: cellular for anything mobile, LoRaWAN for low-power fixed sensors, Wi-Fi for devices already on a wired site network.

05Do you work with NGOs and donor-funded organisations?

Yes — logistics, manufacturing, NGO & donor-funded, retail & distribution, financial services and government are all sectors we serve, including cybersecurity reviews that produce documented evidence for funders and regulators.

06How do I start a project with Iota Technologies?

Email office@iota.co.tz directly, or use the contact details at the bottom of this page — that reaches the team, not a call centre.
